The Handlery Hotel is the host hotel for the competition. It has a beautiful pool and hot tub, as well as a fitness room and karaoke in the bar Friday nights! A block of rooms has been reserved for California's Strongest man competitors, but reserve your room as early as possible, as it is the peak of vacation season here in sunny san Diego and rooms are rare and hard to find for those who wait too late. A reserved shuttle will be available for transportation to the fairgrounds from the hotel the morning of the competition for athletes and family and from the Fairgrounds back to the hotel after the competition is over. There will also be a no-host breakfast buffet available for athletes the morning of the competition. The kitchen staff has been warned of the amazing amounts of food needed by strongmen, so there should be plenty of fuel for the day available. Prices for rooms and the buffet will be posted as soon as they are available.
Early Weigh-ins will be conducted Friday June 30th at the hotel. Further details will follow.
